Peer Coaching

Peer-Edlogo.jpg Peer Coaching is a robust program that guides coaches throughout the experience training them to collaborate with teachers to improve technology integration into lesson plans. The program is about quality lesson design that incorporates technology in a way to add value to an existing lesson. The resulting plans engage students more fully resulting in increased student achievement. The program utilizes the Partners in Learning Network. To find out more about the program go to Peer Coaching Curriculum Overview.pdf

Coaches learn about the Coaching Cycle during their training. Using this cycle, they work with collaborating teachers to integrate technology into lesson plans during the eight coaching sessions spread out through the school year.

In addition, the coaches are trained in communication skills and a variety of processes to assist them with working with their collaborating teacher(s). The links below under 'Artifacts' showcase the work from participants who have completed the peer coaching training.
